E171, called titanium dioxide nanoparticles, is a food additive. It is used as a whitening agent in a large amount of food and drinks and even in medicines. A study was conducted on the rats to find out how this food addiction affects our body. In which the rodent E171 is used in more than 900 food products, and normal people consumes this large amount of food additives daily.

The study, published in a journal called Frontiers in Nutrition, has said that consuming food items that contain E171 food additives. Its direct effect falls on our intestines. Due to which there is the possibility of dangerous diseases like stomach disorders and colorectal cancer.
